This wine is made from grapes grown on small plots in the mountains of Valdeorras, in Ourense. These are old vines aged between 58 and 75 years, many of them rescued from imminent abandonment.
No herbicides or glyphosate are used in the vineyards, as care for the environment and for people’s own health is one of the winery’s founding principles.
Cherry red with a cardinal-red rim, it shows aromas of ripe red fruit and jams. (A powerful, elegant wine that confirms on the palate the fruit perceived on the nose.)
Ideal with red meats, stews and big game.
Best red wine at the 2018 Valdeorras Wine Fair.
Awarded the Gallaecia distinction by the Galician Sommeliers’ Association.
